TRANSPORTATION
Those arriving by air at Sofia Airport can take bus N 84 to Pliska Hotel, where can transfer to buses N 213, 313, 305, 413 directly to the Central Station (the last stop).
Once you arrive at the Central Station there are two options for getting to Plovdiv: bus and railway. Buses leave on the hour from the Big parking lot behind the Princess Hotel across the boulevard from the Central Station. Trains go by the following timetable: 6.30*, 7.15, 9.15, 10.15, 12.15, 14.15, 15.15*, 16.15, 17.15*, 18.15, 19.15, 22.40. (Starred trains are express/intercity, and get to Plovdiv for 2 hours. The remaining ones are fast trains and get to Plovdiv for 2.5 hours).
Buses and trains arrive at Plovdiv Central Station.
